    He would end up doing a lot better if he picked the right stocks. I am happy with 5% returns per year though so my approach is different.

    That's why I'm not jumping into JETS right now. I'm looking for the bottom, that will hit sometime soon.

    JETS is probably safe.

    Could be Jet Blue as well. They're big but not as big.

    I think JETS is safe, I'm just not ready to jump in now.

    A month or so. :notsure:

    The second wave scare will tank them further IMO. Once I go with JETS, I'll hold for 6-12 months.

    See, I'm not betting on a second wave economy tank. I think we'll see a small uptick in cases, or no uptick, but people are sick of the economy being shut down both gubment and average joes like us, that they can enact some regulation, IE: spacing, etc but if they say "Nope shut down for another 2 months" it's going to be a s*&#storm.

    :crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm:

    BUT that said, there will be a few people who say "Oh, new cases....Maybe I won't do this thing X Y or Z I was planning on". Air travel, festivals, etc - will probably see an effect from that, but I don't think nearly as much as last round. Maybe gam-gam won't go to Florida on a plane this year, for example.

    I don’t know, everything that has opened up had been packed, more than normal, hardly any masks. A restaurant in Colorado just got shut down after opening on Sunday. I think the majority don’t care much about this.

    I'm not betting on one either, but the media has a job to do before @#$%& and I expect some serious fear mongering.

    It’s bizarre, it’s like they enjoy the economy is tanking...which they probably are enjoying for reasons that would violate rules

    political motivation makes very little sense. The majority of countries followed the same path with shutdowns. And if the media is pushing for shutdown, they can’t very well blame any political figures for the economic issues caused by any shutdown.

    I haven’t seen many media companies better off than they were pre covid.
