Definitely have to try the 1st and 3rd, Shealy's is catered here at work quite often. Not that impressed, but its catered food maybe I need to make it over for some fresh stuff!

I live in Lugoff, not actual Columbia but the unbearable heat is still here. I really like the dynamic of small town, bigger town is close and then really big town isn't too far away. So Lugoff is a nice small town with some good places to eat, Camden is close so you have Walmart and Lowes, then Columbia for bigger town activities.

So, I'm thinking Westminster/Wahalla area to live, Seneca is close with Lowe's, etc, then Greenville isn't too far away. I'm 1 year into my 5 year plan. I want to have everything paid off (including the truck) except the house, which I can make money on. Then move. Without many bills, I won't be stressed about finding a job making the same as I do now. But the biggest hurdles are the fear of the unknown and convincing the gf. Her family lives near Anderson but she likes her job. I like my job to but I'm just ready for something different. That and I'd rather move closer to the mountains while I'm young enough to enjoy it.

I’ve been for dinner once or twice. It was fine. But the breakfast was my jam. Definitely worth the drive; if they even do that anymore.

I know Lugoff. I used to drive there from Greenville because my dogs vet is there. The only downside to Westminster/Wahalla is lack of jobs. Not sure what you do but I couldn’t just move there, neither could my significant other with our current jobs. If I ever move back, I’d probably move to Travelers Rest. When I looked at buying a house north in Cleveland(SC), I said nope because no high speed internet. The downside to little no where towns I guess.

@Daria I’m not sure if you have said at some point. But you currently in Greenville?

Oh ok. I have a brother in Greenville and go down a few times a year and hangout. I love Greenville, lots of cool places to eat in and around downtown.

I still make pimento cheese. Just not as often. And not in ginormous batches. The food out west is mediocre most of the time. My bf’s boss lived in Columbia when I did. So obviously he likes southern food. Always making stuff like pecan pie, peach cobbler, collards, etc and sharing with him.

Thanks to my brother I have found that I love Greek food.

Greektown Grille( thanks for the fix tiger) facing E Mcbee Ave in front of public’s.

also Ji-roz Right near the corner of N main and stone Ave. not Greek but two Chefs next door is also really good.

I’m not sure I can agree. Maybe I just don’t know what it was really like before. I have been coming to Greenville for about 8 years now.

They are good. There is another on 29 in Greer that was good. I haven’t been in several years. The guy isn’t Greek but he still served a good plate of food.
