The one good thing about living and working in California is they don’t fuck around with employee rights. I could be wrong, but I think California is the only state that, by law, requires employers to allow carryover of vacation days up to 1.5x your annual accrual

Doing some research won't harm you.

If the employer fires you because you caught them doing something illegal, you can go after them with the full weight of the federal government behind you. Man, don't let your company do this to y'all without knowing for sure if what they're doing is legal.
