That’s half the cost of my townhouse in Huntington. I know the pain. I’ve been thinking about moving to Arizona but I just love the beach too much. Maybe in a few years though I’ll do it. Who knows

All the new Yorkers moves to my area years back and drove up housing cost. My town house that I had with the ex wife was 265k with no yard.

No shit? What are you installing? C4, Crestron, AMX?

I work for a university and about a quarter of my job is AMX installs and programming for meeting rooms, event spaces, etc. Fun stuff.

Crestron, savant, Lutron, and control4 mainly. Residential side of things. Always thought it would be fun to work at a university.

Funny part is it’s just old flat farmland. It’s either multimillion houses or townhomes crammed in as tight as possible.

DC is a terrible area for cost of living. Fed and gov con jobs have brought tons of (if not already, soon to become) wealthy folks to the area and the sprawl has made housing prices sky rocket. Plus, population density and traffic make riding towards or in the city a nightmare. I gotta get outta here...

Funny, I always thought it'd be fun to work resi and do a wider variety of things. All I ever get to do is projectors, screens, basic sound, and maybe a mic or two. Last big fun thing was four or so years ago redoing our main Ballroom and Auditorium and throwing bigass Barco 20K lumen projectors in each.

Fun ride this weekend. It was a little cold before lunch but we had a good time. My wife's GoPro cracked though for no reason. In the process of trying to get a new one. The onboard footage in the video is when it broke. She didn't run thru a hole or anything it just cracked :notsure:

My first bike was a 1974 Yamaha RD 350 and it was fast I can’t even imagine how beastly this thing would be. Wish I still had mine, they are stupid expensive when you can find anything 2 stroke from the 70’s.

Unless you qualified for "low income housing" 7 years ago like I did.. :anonymous:

I could make $2M/year and still have a low mortgage. They wont kick me out.

I charge my roommate more than my mortgage, and he gets a good deal, and I live for free basically..

Lookin for opinions from Sporty/ Harley guys...

Thinking about a mid glide or wide glide conversion from Vulcan Works with the stock 39mm fork tube. Kinda starting to hate the way the skinny front end looks especially with these 14" narrow bottom apes. Also going to move the the turn signals to the forks which I think might help. Votes for mid glide or wide glide?

Please excuse my messy garage. It's a wreck right now
