I'm going to be buying in a few short months. Really want Cement, that's my top color choice. I'm going be buying off a lot somewhere within 100 miles so I'm going to be flexible. Also will consider Sky Silver and Magnetic Grey. I did like Calvary Blue too. I will get what ever I can get a fair deal on of those 3 colors.

I live in a town with a military base, yet when I went looking for my Cement Sport, no one participated in the USAA buyers program. I ended up driving about 150 miles to a participating dealer, and they cut me some huge breaks.... Here I am two years later, and more mods than I can count ....

My first choice was Sky silver but I let my daughter talk me into Cement(which was my 2nd choice). We already had 2 other vehicles at home that were silver. Silver is super easy to keep clean. Only dark mud shows up on the cement. It's a win-win either way.

That is what I figured about the dirt showing on those colors. MGM is probably going to show dirt much like the Deep Green metallic of my Jeep but its still a nice color.

Haha you and I have similar taste. Right now I am working a deal with a dealer two hours north of me for a Cement OR 4x4 and a dealer an hour south of me with a White OR 4x4. I really want the Cement but that Dealer hasn’t really been getting back to me while the dealer with the White one has been really easy to work with. With all that said if Calvary Blue was an option on the 2020(or 2021) I would be holding out for one of those without a doubt.

I can’t speak for the quality of them but Toyota ProShop has them for around $150 and they look pretty good. TacomaBeast.com has them as well

Guys, I'm here to tell you that silver/black wheels look killer on cement. I may be biased but this is one of my faves setups I've seen on cement.

Is that a 2WD OR? The front end looks up there for a 4WD model...plus you're on 35's right?

Yes to 2WD OR. It's on spindles and about 5" up front and 3.5" in rear and yes, 35s.

Got my BHLM Installed today. Last of the chrome from the exterior gone.

I’m torn on the Meso Trim Plates. What are your thoughts?

I got this one last Friday. There are very few long bed cements left in Southern California - especially from dealers that are willing to make deals. I feel pretty lucky I got this one. This is the only color I would consider.

I'll keep it fairly stock (for now at least) but plan on making a few upgrades. I've been getting a lot of great ideas from this forum, and am looking forward to sharing the progress!

I have already ordered a Lomax tri-fold cover from #gotexhaust and have some oem blackout inserts I got off ebay for a good price. Also on the way is an oem bed mat and bed lighting kit from Salinas Toyota.

Eventually I'm going to swap out those chrome tube step for something all-black (or perhaps nothing at all)

I don't plan to change the suspension but I'm going to replace the stock wheels with black 16" TRD Pro wheels because I like how they look. I'll keep the stock tires until I figure out what "new shoes" are going to work best for me. Suggestions welcome. Most of the off-road driving I'll do will be on the rutty dry lakebeds I fly my high-powered rockets from and I look forward to taking this to find some off-the-beaten path camping spots.

I'm thinking I may get a roof rack too.

    What else?

My first Tacoma, and I'm super stoked about the adventures ahead.

8F8C169E-0D30-4F0E-AEB5-61E9804D0A90.jpg Here’s my 2019 DCLB. Finally upgraded wheels and tires. A week later I threw on bilstein 6112/5160 combo on the truck. Bilstein is set on 3/2 clips for a .5 inch from lift. I had a 1.5 inch rake on the truck (you short bed owners might have different).

The tires are Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT in the C load for 265/75/16. I HIGHLY recommend them. No notice in power loss from the tires. Tires alone pushed the truck up .5 inches.

Once I installed the lift, I have noticed about 1 mpg loss from both the lift and tires. So I’m super happy.

If anyone is hesitant on buying bilstein, it’s IMO the best bang for you buck. The truck is 10x more planted on the road. There’s no floating feeling while going over a bridge expansion joint or Something of the like. Yes it is firmer, but it handles corners and braking exceptionally.

    Stock suspension. Stock tires.

Thoughts: I wouldn’t change any of my decisions. Overall I gained .5 inches in the rear and 1 inch in the front. I still have a 1 inch rake but it’s not as noticeable. Truck rides firm but planted. Super stocked with it.

    Thanks for reading!

Had it for about 24 hours. Almost got the identical long bed, but decided a short bed fit my needs better.
