i was all pissed off and winded at HF checkout because there was a headwind the entire way to the store. fortunately, i remembered my wallet and a mask. saw three people get turned away for not having masks. that would have sucked.

you change out the coupler for the nylon, non-spring loaded version too? Definitely one of the best changes I've made to it. no more "rocks in the screws" sounds..

Alright people, someone talk to me about water/ meth injection kits. My newer logs with warmer temps and new intake location were showing higher than desirable intake air temps.

You know, on the topic of smog and California in general, I'd like to deviate from the boost topic and talk candidly with all my Texas folk...

I've been sick of this state for some close to 10 years now, if not longer due to all the general idiocy out here too many arrogant citizens and the governing body of this state absolutely blows in many aspects... The thought has crossed my mind many times as to moving out to TX... And now speaking with @Roostfactor about doing a possible road trip out there to get some exhaust work has reopened my idea of moving out there in general. What does everyone who lives out there feel about their home state? It seems way less infringing upon it's citizens freedoms and the cost of living sounds ACTUALLY affordable.

A little insight would be highly appreciated. :)

Knowing you and our climate.. I'd suggest a snorkel.. but some might frown upon that. It's worked great for me.. true cooler, cleaner air.

I honestly have no idea. Some of these other more edumacated guys here could shed light on that. I think the spring loaded OE version was to help create a smoother coupling between the rotors.. but wears after time.. then gets sloppy. The solid nylon is just that. Solid.. so keeps them engaged together better with no slop. Kinda like going from regular rubber bushings to Poly. That's just my shot in the dark guess.

Yes.. drive right on through and continue to Texas please. Don't California my Arizona. Lol. Jk

    Come on over here man!

That makes sense.. Usually the default idea when they do not use solid parts. More comfort.

Get with me before you decide on anything.

I have a kit from Snow Performance I have yet to install (doing some testing for them).

I may be able to get a discount or gb.
