    That's how I felt about it too. I was hoping for more of a realistic look at what would have occurred if the war went the other way, like an alternative historical drama. But the show had more of a generic TV drama fantasy feel to it and I lost interest pretty quickly. I know its based on some book(s) though so they were probably trying to stick to those, I never read them so I can't speak to that.

    Den of thieves turned out to be pretty good. There is a scene where the guy in charge of the robberies empty's 4 or 5 clips into a target at a shooting range and is dead center with every shot but he cant hit the cop chasing him in spite of having a machine gun and several other weapons and hundreds of rounds being fired. It was still good entertainment.

    In the gateway on north island. Can’t leave base when ROM is up, ID is flagged like those on restriction and they’re sending students to mast...15yrs in the Navy and it’s like I’m in A-school all over again. Luckily my sis lives on the island and can do booze and food runs for me haha (galley food has been less than tolerable).
