Front end refresh and all new suspension

Hey guys, about to order a whole bunch of parts and I wanted to list them and see if you have any recommendations on other things to replace while I'm in there.

I am at 195,000 miles and I just ordered a complete Old Man Emu suspension kit, and I am going to replace all the front end steering components.

Poly Bushings:
Power Steering Rack bushings from Energy Suspension
Sway Bar bushings form Energy
Tie rod end bushings from energy (they make an octagonal shaped one and a round one, does any one know what the difference is or which ones I should order? or should I just use the rubber ones that come with the new tie rod ends from Toyota?
Lower Control Arm bushings from Whiteline
Control Arm Bushing set from Energy (Whiteline doesn't make upper control arm bushings, and I could not find anyone that sells just upper control arm poly bushings, please let me know if you can).

I am going to lube everything with SuberLube

any help/recommendations/tips and anything you can supplement me with is greatly appreciated.

 

are you also replacing the steering rack??
i have the beginnings of a leak in mine i think, will be under observation

 

ya tie rod end bushings don't make sense haha, just looked under my truck and there's definitely no bushings hahah.

why do you say use energy suspension poly grease? just curious.

 

I don't plan on replacing the rack.

 

That's definetly a good place to start. I would definetly go to your local parts store and rent the tool to remove the old ball joints and what not makes life super easy and its free after all said and done. good luck with the lower cams. there is a good video by timmy showing how to remove lower bushings from control arms cause they are no fun

 

Did you complete this project? I'm about to do the same thing and would like to know if there were any key takeaways? Any unnecessary parts?

i just did mine. I got upper and lower BJ and Bilstein 6100 ride height adjustable shocks, and R&P bushing kit and end links. I also just did the tundra 13wl brake upgrade too. stops like a Ferrari now.
