Probably not going to do any crazy off-roading or overlanding. Need it to be able to carry a paddle board or 2 hence the roof rack, bikes, and camp gear mostly.

Would like to hear some recommendations for better tires that can fit without a lift.

Pretty new to all this. Last car was a '98 land cruiser with 312k on the dash. Thing was a tank

I’m a huge fan of coopers and toyo both I got 60k out of.
Cooper AT3 is a more mild AT And the st maxx Is a pretty aggressive.
I’m not a big fan of BFG ko2 but they look cool.

I also just got a 2020 OR. Ended up getting the ARB Roof rack to carry my yak. About $580 for the rails and rack, which believe it or not is a decent price for a tacoma roof rack.

Where are all these new folks coming from? This is great!

I’ll add y’all to the list!

When you want to get SERIOUS, there’s only one place in town.

    The Triple C.

Folks come from far and wide to let @Texoma get them high and wide.
Stickers. Lots of fucking stickers. They’re cheap, easy, and make other people go “is that a stock truck with a shitload of stickers?”
Yaks weigh upwards of 1500 pounds. Plus they eat a lot, which means poop. I would think it’d be better to tow them in a specialty trailer.

    upload_2020-5-12_17-18-39.jpg

I’d hate to have to wrestle one of these suckers up and down from a roof rack.

hahaha ... what took me so long ... I'm sensing this is going to be a time suck ... here are a few pics, although unfortunately the truck is spending too much time in the driveway.

Interior: Diode Dynamic LED Interior lights. Accessories: Mountain Hatch Tailgate Insert, Roofnest Condor RTT (stays on 24/7), RotoPax extra gas container, Maxtrax, Waterport hose, bottle opener Suspension: Front Bilstein 6112 (set 6/5) 600lbs springs, SPC UCAs. Rear Bilstein 5160 and Icon RXT Leaf springs.
Got my 2020 1. I plasti dipped the wheels and badges. 2. dog proofed the backseat and got all weather formats 3. switched inside and outside to LEDs 4.Added Prinsu roof rack. Added front and back anytime camera since Ill be loseing a bit of back window view 6. waiting on my CBI bed rack to add on, depending on how my RTT sits Ill look at 2in suspension lift but ill do that around the time I get new tires. 7.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBI2nEAqPPk wont keep out ppl that really want to get in but great to add wallet and eyes before a river trip.

Think about what you will be doing before any mods ( if your 80% road and 20% off road isnt crazy no need to rush adding 33s and a 3 inch icon lift) and make sure you dont void any of your warranty
