What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Did some work under the hood and installed an ARB twin...
However, when plugging in the switch, I made a mistake and one of the rectifier diodes burned. Does
anyone know what amp and voltage this diodes are?
The diode that burnt is the red and yellow.

 

Ordered a cap with sliding front window, LED runner for a light , Headliner and two "Windoors" color matched to my new OR.

I'm going to build a sleeping platform with a removable center drawer so I can flip the last 1/3 of the platform or whatever portion fits under the cap, over onto itself with a piano hinge when I need to do some work out of it.

 

OUCH. That left a mark.

You can check dealer or ebay for tailgate. Or junkyard if they have good condition.

 

For the cost of repair if you pay out of pocket you could probably buy a new tailgate.
Some holes for the slide hammer, bondo, primer and paint........., personally I'd replace it. Good luck.

 

I had my boy do it but it’s a few coats of yellow and then a clear coat.

Unless you install rivet nuts To attach the reverse hammer???

Actually with as much of the inside panel removed exposes, an old school shop might be able to push that back out. Or if you plan on buying a new one, you might attempt it yourself first. Just remember the last is is the first out!
