    Hey guys,

I just got my first tacoma, a black 2015 offroad! Its great!

I was looking online and I have apparently I have the entune plus without maps system.
It has this model number on the bottom right. 510080.

Online I saw that it is supposed to have the weather app. However when I click on apps its not there. I normally wouldn't care but as the car doesn't have a thermometer I would love the app t see the temp. Anyone have any ideas why its not there?
I have checked software updates and I am on the latest.
My car doesn't do the entune app suite so I can't use the phone app.

You don't give a location. but the 510080 appears to be the Canadian model without weather and traffic.

The 510079 is the US model that includes the apps.

Oh sorry! I forgot thay part. I'm in the US. I wonder how my car got a Canadian head unit. I just bought it used. So the previous owner must have switched it out or bought it in Canada???

I have the same radio model as well. Just use your phone for the weather, traffic and map.

I tried everything even VPN to download the Canadian firmware and wouldn't work in the US. If you need a firmware update hop on over to the Canada region and ask if anyone can download and upload it for you. They were very helpful and responded quickly.

FWIW the weather function on mine is about useless. It always shows the weather for a city atleast an hour away.
