Just got some pictures of my first Toyota from a guy who I was stationed with when I was a 2LT and he was an E4 in Fairbanks, I think this is late spring 1992 when the pictures were taken. We painted the truck on post, had fun and made a mess of the facility but the truck turned out OK.

I can't remember all I did to that truck, rebuilt the engine with racing cams, carb, headers, extra fuel tank under the spare tire, custom front and rear bumpers, new seats and a bunch of other stuff.

got a small boat or tube? Lake langlois in between Carnation and Fall city is a great little stocked lake(electric motor only) as are Pine lake and Beaver lake in sammamish.

And should be girl scout free with the current climate prohibiting gatherings that they would have on that lake. I once had to listen to the same girl repeatedly yell at her friends "YOU CANT GO IN THE WATER!" one afternoon/evening while fishing out there. I'll never get that sound out of my head and I'm instantly reminded of it once I pull down into the launch/parking area at langlois.

YOU CANT GO IN THE WATER!:angrygirl::bananadead:

Kinda like someone else said, I need to get the truck out of my driveway for a few days. I’m looking for ocean spots preferably in NW WA but I’d travel a bit for some sand to drive around on. I know Long Beach is the place to go, but are there any others?

yep, right now those and other close by stocked lakes make for some easy fun after being cooped up a while. I tried Kachess last Sunday with no luck but then caught my limit at Lavender.

From what I asked last week. Most of the access is closed . I'm in the same boat. I wanna go out badly. Find a beach, watch the sun set and drink a case of Mickey's next to a fire on the beach

I had to run up to the pass and rescue our lowboy yesterday/Monday, and katchless had friggen white caps that looked to swell at about 6'. If you're not expecting it, you could find yourself blown all the way to the other end of the lake in a hurry and stranded there or hitching a ride back to the boat launch.

@JimSnell not sure what happened yet, but it's making a gawd awful noise accompanied by a knock, enough blow by to make hempfest look like amateurs and it spewed a good amount of coolant briefly. Not sure where it came from because coolant level checks out fine, oil level is in the zone but it's got no snoose. Wasn't even working hard, it only had a 20k# rock drill on it. They're supposed to start dissecting it tomorrow.

I knew better than to answer the phone when the lowboy driver calls. The first words out of his mouth when I answered the phone - "bring the other lowboy". :bananadead:
