That sounds about right for the disclosed dealer cost. I ended up paying $1000 over dealer cost and had them throw in the bed mat. That was at the end of March, and again, when they had very few Quicksand Off Roads on the lot. Don’t know how much inventory they currently have for one in Cement - let alone with the Premium package, so your mileage may vary... Good luck!

Another option you may want to try for purchasing a vehicle at a good price...
    https://noblecarbuyersvictoria.com/
He charges a flat fee above dealer cost and the last time I used the service it was $700 over dealer cost. Very easy and professional service. You have to pay a fee upfront (goes towards the $700 fee) in order for him to find you the vehicle you want. It helps if you know exactly the model, colour and options before you engage the service. Made car buying very easy without all the dealer bs stuff that goes on.

I had purchased a 4runner years ago. He found the model I wanted on the mainland and had it shipped to Victoria to finalize the paperwork.

Hey there. Can anyone in the Lower Mainland recommend a shop to do a 2" Bilstein lift with add-a-leaf? I've had a couple of quotes from $1500.00 to $3500. Maybe I'm out of touch but that seems pretty expensive. Thanks!

I can not say enough good things about Fab at https://westcoastoffroaders.com/.

He is straight up and fairly priced. I had him replace all my shocks and rear springs. Tell him what you want and he'll tell you if it makes sense. His truck is sweet. Hell - he offered to let me have his truck for the day while he did the work on mine. I told him I only wanted it so I could drive it over rocks. He laughed.

    I trust him.

PS: I don't know what a 'bilstein lift' should cost. but the price I got from him for OME with Dakar heavy duty springs was in that ballpark. Also, it was worth every penny. I can't believe the difference. I'm in Kits. Drop me a PM and I'll let you drive my truck to see the difference.

Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it. I ended up going with 4wd parts to do the lift. After I did more research they're price was pretty reasonable.
I'm going to do Bilstein adjustable shocks in the front, and new shocks in the back with the added leaf.

The last place in the world that you want touching your vehicle, is any 4WP store. The Edmonton location did something like $5-10k worth of damage to a buddy's Tacoma when he brought it in for an ARB bumper install. All said and done they paid out close to $15-20k to cover the damage and his expenses.

And since you're probably dealing with the Langley location, get real comfortable with the idea of not having anything ship on time, and not being able to speak to anyone at the store for literally days at a time. They have a single girl working the counter, a lineup of pissed off customers from the second they open, and an endlessly ringing phone. Management doesn't give a damn, either.

Just join the local BC Toyota 4WD group on Facebook and have a look at the posts people have made over the last few weeks. I'll never again give 4WP so much as a penny.

Plasti-dipped stock OR rims. My dad was happy with the price (though I would've tried to go if it were me).

Thanks again for your comments; they were really helpful!

Good to hear! As long as he's happy, that's all that matters. The wheels look good btw!

    Cheers.

I concur. Good guy, good shop. Had the 2" OME kit with medium duty Dakars installed by them last year.
