Does anyone know the vertical load carrying capacity of the bed rails on these trucks?

I have fashioned the rotopax carrier in the attached image. It attaches via 4 t nuts to the bed rail at the head of the bed and has a crossmember that will rest on the bedside.

I estimate the total fluid weight to be ~80 lbs and the total dry weight of mount + containers to be ~20 lbs.

My main concern is 100lbs of weight getting jostled around when I'm out offroad.

So far I have been unable to find anything in search about the vertical load capacity.

I guess an estimate of the shear load could be taken from the screws holding the rail to the bed? Does anyone know if a published spec exists?

I know a guy mounted his spare to the bed rails once. Bent the sh!t out of it.
I would not mount those to the bedrails of my truck without proper reinforcement first

How did he have it mounted?

Thinking about how to reinforce this somehow. First iteration of the design.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was just with a couple T slot nuts on the drivers side behind the wheel well.
I'd think about building a sort of platform to let them rest on the bottom of the bed- have one or both of those horizontal pieces go all the way to the bottom of the bed for support

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
I’m guessing you’re fine. Rotopax makes their in mount. I’m running a water can on mine. Two mounts would distribute the load if you’re running the 4 gallons

I’m thinking four would be fine.
    Maybe not 8 though.
