This is some sad news. I’m sure you can find a way to share the space. Like half crafting and the other Lego. IMO lego is still art, just in a different medium. Let us know how it works out. I do second the “she-shed” idea.

It’s models like these that challenge my commitment to myself to keep my Lego collection limited to Star Wars, Apollo and other real life space stuff & WWII fighters...

 

Tried my hand at one of the tensegrity builds. Fun and challenging!

 

And it keeps him out of her hair while he builds it to her liking

 

My wife today proposed that I get some shelving in my home office to display my Legos

 

First build is done. The Ninjago set.

 

Second build complete (the 4 year old's).

Frozen.

 

Another build done this morning bright and early.

From the stuff that the kiddo got, that's "structured building", we just have the two small 3 in 1 sets to build, and then we start to tackle the Pirate Bay set.

Emerging scandal with Deep Space Rocket. LEGO recently released a "Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control" set for $99.99. However, an alarming analysis by Some Guy's Blog reveals that if realized in real life this modular, multi-stage rocket cannot in fact reach deep space. It finds that the delta-v of the launch system is 4.25 km/s, not high enough for even LEO.

When LEGO fails to reach LEO ... "This raises troubling questions for LEGO City leadership. Why does the set include a rover and a grappling arm, if it will never reach the moon? What’s the satellite used for if it doesn’t have the delta-v to reach even low-earth orbit? LEGO, we need answers!" In fact, we demand them. (submitted by Backwards Traveller)

I am immensely pleased with how this turned out. Still need to add rigging and make sails, but the brick work is finished.
