I have just purchased new headlight assembly and before i have them installed i replaced all the bulbs with led's while they are in the box now i am worried about hyper flashing. I have a 2010 tacoma with rear factory installed led's, I purchased my led's from https://www.superbrightleds.com/ . my question is has anyone else purchased turn signal bulbs from this company and did not have a problem?
    Thanks

I’m pretty positive that you will have hyperflash. Only way to know for sure is to try, though. @boogie3478 did a YouTube video about a rear turn signal bulb that was plug and play one time but if I recall correctly they were pretty expensive.

Yeah they weren't cheap but plug and play without needing to add resistors or do any splicing/soldering. Super bright too. :D DeautoLED

Just go led on all the turn signal bulbs and get the led relay from diode dynamics. Done.

Is there one made for models with DRL though? Last I checked they were only for models without DRL’s

There is not. I believe there is an adapter to use the regular non-dtrl relay but it might require that the system was converted to non-dtrl. I'm sure DD could answer any questions about it.

Gotcha, OP may not have DTRL and this would be the way to go, I’m not sure. Was mainly asking for myself lol, thanks!

I replaced my front amber DRL/turn signal bulbs recently on my 2011 with LEDs from SuperbrightLEDS.com using the same bulb as the OP. I checked before splicing-in the resistors and yes, I had hyperflash. The new bulbs are much brighter than stock and they are more yellow than amber, which I don't like. I switched to LED to stop further heat damage to the lenses in front of the bulbs. The previous owner didn't get the damaged highlight assemblies changed before the TSB free replacement period ended in 2015.

Yep they hyperflash I just checked so I will buy two led's that have built in resistors for my front turn signals. So far I have led headlights, amber parking lights and backup lights.
Thank You everyone for the input :)

You're welcome. You have a 2010 with DRL, right? Do you know that the LED bulbs with the built-in resistors are going to get really hot? That's what resistors do, they draw current and get really hot doing so. Like, burn the crap out of your fingers hot. That is why I opted for the remote resistors - to get the heat away from the lens. Do you still have the original headlight lenses? If so, the new bulbs may damage them. Pretty much every older 2nd gen with DRL that I have checked around where I live either has lens damage or the replacement lens. I know one guy that had the lenses replaced by Toyota on his 2010 prior to 2015 and his truck still has no visible damage of the lenses. So I guess the replacement lenses are better material.

Thanks REB55 I was just reading about that so now I am thinking a flasher from diode dynamics may be the way to go.

They will get hotter than a similar LED without resistors but it will be way less than the standard incandescent bulb. It also will not have nearly as much ir radiation so most of that heat will be contained to the LED lamp assembly or whatever exterior driver some of those bulbs use. There are also resistor adapters that go between the LED lamp plug and harness plug but I've only seen them sold with the LED, not by themselves.
