I think Im going to try to repurpose them to fit over the 1.75" bed rack bars, and copy this design for the traction board mounts. Easy way to save $80+ and just a little massaging with the 3lb hammer

Are you sure? That tape measure looks old, could be a bit off.

 

97-100" was the range that I was allowed

 

97" was the final length. Then had to lift it onto the Excursion which had an 8" lift and 37s

How does the handicapped driver get in and out of the Excursion?

 

He parked there to load up for camping. And he isnt fully in the handicapped spot

 

@caribe makaira Ive seen you helping some others out with electrical stuff, so I thought Id throw out a question to you.

Im running these bed lights, going to a blue sea fuse panel.

I eliminated the in-line fuse, because of the fuse panel. I used a 10A fuse. I just found out that the lights would not turn off, after i clicked the button. So I had to pull the fuse. Anything else I can do to continue using the lights? maybe run a smaller fuse?

 

I might be changing my big red camping box to something like this.. gotta get more budget friendly
