Thank you Dave! I’m going to to try to stream line some of these positive wires and re route some stuff. It’s going to require more wire so off to the store.

Yeah man. Hopefully it works. I admit, I was making some educated guess on some of it.

So hes asking 42k obo for the bird. Its pretty steeply priced in my opinion, but overall a very solid car

What’s your guys’ opinion on cap mount relocation kits? I’ve been deciding on whether to do another body CMC and remove the red section pictured, or just get the Alpine Designs relocation kit. The only thing holding me back is the safety features when in a front end collision. Not really wanting to become Lt Dan anytime soon...

Soon, I will be hammering down the firewall and the pinch weld more to clear 35s and the cab mount will most likely still be in the way after another CMC. Thoughts/ experiences?

Yeah I’ve been following that group buy and the original thread for a long time now. Just don’t a good enough reason to fork out cash to buy it with the install costs at this time for the pivots. I’ll probably do that however within the next couple months, especially when more people have them and put out honest feedback

I was able to retain my stock cab mounts and don’t hit them at all with 35s. Of course YMMV but I say just cut as much off as you can.

I cut them back this much and welded a plate in it.

Got an appointment next Wednesday morning...off hand do you recall about how much it cost? He didn't want to quote me a price, and I need to bring enough cash to cover it.

Any chance you could ask the specs on the pipe? Trying to source the appropriate pipe since OE is insulated I believe...

    Old school fix.

1 of 2 things have happened here.

The battery post is slightly smaller than normal. Or the terminal on the cable has been over tightened and deformed. The screw, is screwed in to take up the slack between the post and terminal (connector), so the terminal will not move on the post.
