I still need to figure out what header I want to buy because now I'm looking at all the header options since I've heard JBA is made using thin wall metal. Doug Thorley would be the coolest but they stamp their name right on the top of the headers for the world to see.

 

The brake light could be plausible with these 90l trucks, I had one get slightly bent after bleeding for 4 hrs (the air pockets on the abs pump) two possible solutions for testing is that the brake switch has an adjustment just turn and push as far as you can so that NVH can be as small as a factor as possible. Another if you have access to a private road is just to unplug it, autos will need to have the engine on and in neutral for it to go into gear (rally hack).

 

I am strongly considering just disconnecting it and driving it for a little while like that on the road. It doesn't take much to trigger the event so even driving in my neighborhoods would work out okay.

 

Just be aware that the hydraulics work but not your brake lights. So find a place that sees little to no traffic.

 

Oh yeah, I know. I've dealt with these brake switch issue cars quite plenty at work to know what to expect.

There's a bunch of places around this general living area that I am at that is under construction so little to no traffic is seen.

There is a company that makes a sweet low profile hood for a snorkel that may be more appealing. It flows with the A pillar and then lays flat on the hood line. I would consider that over the purple cobra protruding from the fender.

@JustDSM I sent you the stumble log. Imanaged to snag a lot of instances where it fell on its face.

Notes:

Disabled the brake light switch, no change.

Disabled traction and skid control, also no change

It's what I have observed in other cases. Send me your current calibration and I can show you how I know it's the ECU thinking it's at idle.
