I laid down on the floor to do some sit-ups. It basically resulted in me just lying on the floor with a cat sleeping on my chest.

That is a lot. My septum deviation they say is so slight realistical probably not an issue. Only want remove tonnisils because biggest they've ever seen lol. No issues though. If they had been more positive it could help some I would have gone for it. They were so I didn't lol.

Speaking of sandpaper, I had a dream lastnight my wife had a piece of 80 grit sandpaper sanding my tenders. Woke up and the cat was licking them.

If you've already done this I'm sorry for being redundant but look up UP3.

It is the name of the surgery. Warning!: Some of what you read is gonna make you not want to do it but the reading I did helped me to make the decision to move ahead with it. I had to fight with insurance cause my Dx. was "Simple Snoring" and not sleep apnea but the sleep study was a joke. Don't now how anyone actually sleeps during a sleep study. I've worked with my ENT for years and he was great in helping me fight the insurance to get approval.
Think they try to be really conservative with their estimates of success for liability. There are many patients who are simply non-compliant in following post-op instructions which is the first key to success assuming the surgery itself was successful. Those are the one who are eager to find lawyers when things don't work as promised.

If you're having that much trouble getting a good night sleep might be worth a little extra research?? YMMV

Is your break the kind of break where they start counting the moment you're relieved and your travel to and from the break room counts in your lunch time so you actually only get 20-25 minutes?
The cat was licking your nutsack?! o_Oo_O

Ok. Cause you don't tell many jokes. If @TacomaDave had posted that joke, I would have recognized it for the joke is was.
