Got some stuff done while I wait for my axle to ship. Truck sits sky high because I just put it together. I still need to add extra leafs to pack from Deaver. There is also no front bumper/front diff on right now.

    -New uniballs/misalignment spacers all around
    -New zerks all around
-Total Chaos Nylatron bushings all around
    -Solo Motorsports motor mount gussets
    -Mounted (5) Walker Evans beadlocks

Let me know how you like those bushings. I'm going to rebuild my TC kit in the fall/winter and I might throw those in.

Kartek sells the delrin bushings. I like them, destroyed the poly bushings I had before.

Hey Matt what driveshaft do you have or is it stock modified.

I have to get the right hubs from Blitzkrieg on Monday. There was a small glitch in the process. Can you tell?

-made new rear brake lines and bled the brakes

-electric line lock is tied in to brakes but not wired to dash yet
-cut bed more for better shock angle and maintenance room
-thinking about making aluminum sheet metal fender wells to cover big holes in bed this weekend

Here are some updates with the axle swap and new bumper. We are still working through brake issues, and waiting on the VSS kit from Wyatt. He really came through for us and took a lot of the pressure off us to locate all the parts. I am picking up a 4x8 sheet of 6061 Monday for skids.

Great progress Matt! I really like the skidplate supports. Can't wait to see them all mounted up!

I have a feeling I'm going with a similar design next time around. It's cheaper to replace flat metal plates than to buy/make new bent skids every time I tear up what's on my truck.

So the brakes are bled and the brake pedal is still mush. I ordered a 2006 Tundra master cylinder and we will see how that goes. I am trying to exhaust my options before I go to manual brakes. :(
