That is no joke. I have paid in the past to use it online and the amount of work needed to pull that off is mind boggling to me.

So true. I would have made it about 300 pages in and said fuck it.

While I can access it, I won't. Simply put messing with it can be dangerous since it is part of the cruise control system

Just purchased the software. I had the ovtuned kit so hit the link for the license only.

I am excited to learn this skill and dive into some of the current and potential possibilities of this software. Thanks Matt.

Is it possible to use vf tuner to adjust tire size? I know you made a few tunes specific to tire size so was hoping this would be possible. I tried searching but couldnt find if this had been answered already.

If VF Tuner can't come through with it, there's a viable 2Lo mod available.

2lo mod is great. I use it quite a bit

Is it bad to be in 4wd low with a loaded trailer? Not sure I see the usefulness of 2wd low.

On high friction surfaces, you cannot turn while in 4wd. For the MTs with a Reverse gear that is taller than the 1st, backing in 2Hi can be a clutch slipping PITA. The 2LM solves that.

That said, @lapoltba has sent his 2LM harness to a lot of AT folks also.

One issue with implementing the 2LM with vF is that you need a control switch to tell the 4wd ECU that you want 2Lo, not 4Lo.

I wonder if the way Mat is managing multiple tunes via ECT/S-Mode could be mimicked.

That might work for ATs if the 4wd ECU can see those inputs. The biggest tune switching issues for MTs is similar since the only available engine ECU input is the cruise control switch.

I want to try and modify the torque converter lockup/unlock. Want to tune my truck to not unlock TC over 55mph in 5th. in the tune i'm running now it does this but over 60mph, I havn't tested it stock but most likely will soon. trying to figure out what all these numbers in vftuner mean in relation to shifting in the upshift and downshift schedule. Then I see the gear size for differential is .8 but not sure what I'd enter here for 5.29 gears. I can't wait to see an actual ovtune in vftuner format i could probably figure a lot of this out on my own just by going back and forth looking at the differences between the stock and tuned tunes.

i'm working in vftuner on 04b31 stock tune.

@OVTune , I am not wanting to be a pest and I know you are most likely swamped but I added a question to my Zendesk # 15138 from 4-28 . I did not get an automated response from the new question . I did get an automated response from the original request for my VF registration but nothing since I sent the email with the system ID .( I have the master key from 4-23 ) Do I need to start over because it has been 2 weeks and it has automatically been deleted ?
Thanks , and hope you are feeling better .

So for new customers with .reg files already installed and Tactrix cable in-hand, that means we’ll be able to tune if both of the above are completed this weekend, correct @OVTune?

Anybody mess with the alternator settings in vFtuner yet? I left the settings on the alternator test file (04B04), but changes the numbers on the graph so that the matched the increments on the stock file, instead of 93 all the way across. Tested the file, and the voltage wasn't increased. It looks like there is a lot to learn about how all this works.

the calibration procedure isn't that difficult according to the service manual. You just setup the corner reflector at a certain spot then tell TS to start the calibration. Is there a thread for guys talking about this? I want in.

    Good evening

we have discovered a bug on 4D tables (for editing).
This bug will be fixed ASAP! (likely by tomorrow) and a new version build will be available.

Everyone will need to update to this new version.

    To update:
simply download the new version and install it.
it will over-write the old stuff.
