Good excuse to get out and get some fresh air!

 

I watched 4 kayakers get in the water right after the wind picked up Sunday and they all ended up at the North end of the lake. These two ladies kept trying to paddle up wind and then would give up. Also they didn't take their shirts off to show their bikini tops until they were out a ways. I reported them.

I couldn't remember where Google saved that picture when I downloaded it and after browsing for it for more than a minute, I searched my backed up images for "ar15" with no results. I then tried "rifle" and it was the 3rd result.

 

Please explain to me why a civilian would need something that can shoot up to 1/125 with an ISO of 1600, and lastly an exposure rate unregulated by officials? These are weapons of un realistic imagery and need to be regulated at the highest levels

 

6 years and 8 months since this was stolen from my garage in Auburn (long story for those who don't remember), and 5.5 years since the city of Felony Way PD found it... The ATF has finally released the gun back to me, and in another state at that! Now I just need to get some new ammo and take it back out for a test drive down here.

Positive note to all of you, the ATF doesn't destroy ALL weapons they confiscate for trials!

I know of 2 people who are waiting to get theirs back also from 1 county and one city PD. Ones pushing 2yrs, the other is just over 1yr wait. Is it a stretch to ask for them to return it with the ammo it once had in it also?

 

after knowing the rightful owner could be frustrated about how long it took, doubtful of that.

 

No crime. Someone broke into my garage and took it from my tool bag (we were wrenching/shooting the night prior. Was going to clean the next day). They pulled the guy over when a citizen said they saw a guy flaunting a gun in his car. Turns out he was already a convicted felon.

I didn't have any ammo in it. But, CA isn't allowed to have over 10rd mags. They gave me my 17rd mag back. Maybe because I am not a CA citizen, and I am grandfathered?

 

One of my co workers was involved in an incident that ended in the discharge of his firearm. That was in 2015 and got it back in november of 2019 finally. He was worried he wouldn't get it back. Very nice .45 polished ramps and trigger sights recoil spring ect. Close to a 2k firearm he used for carry and would occasionally use it for USPSA

 

Ooof didn't see the norcal until this.

Not surprised how long it took to get back (even though it wasn't actually used) but am surprised you got your 17 round mag back.

 

Yeah, was the agent in Seattle that got ahold of me first. They transferred to an agent here. Then had to go through CA DOJ...

 

Ah yes the ole bureaucratic run around. At least you got it back in the end

 

Right?!? ATF committed a crime lol! Pretty sure the import of “large capacity” mags into CA is forbidden. I kinda would have been scared taking delivery. Or maybe in real life nobody gives a shit about the 10rd rule

 

I have a get out of jail free card. Military, non resident, and owned in a prior state before moving.
