    What is the point in the upper nipple opening? Can you provide a cap to put on those if they are not needed or weld the opening shut in advance?

    Allows for over flo tank option or you can just cap it off.

    I had the same thought but, in my experience, the intercooler doesn't see very high temps or pressure, so I used a simple rubber cap on mine. (No problems yet. :fingerscrossed:)

    Unfortunately nippleless won't be an option. I wasn't able to find a fair priced weld on aluminium radiator cap that didn't have a nipple. Super easy to cap though as @Norton and myself are running them that way currently without any issue.

    So I would recommend some sort of coating on these. They are bare 6061 aluminium when I send them out. Wont ever rust but will get dull unless you paint or clear coat them

    My main man, it is not powder coat. It is Rustoleum flat black primer/ main color coat. I just simply scuffed it up using some 150 grit, painted it, and then baked it. ;)

    That actually is the way it does mount in! Remember mine is a Sport model without hydroboost so it mounts in differently. I am going to finish hooking it up either later today or tomorrow morning and when I do I'll snap a finishing photo of it.
