Yeah, at least with 3 off, I had a full day in between messing with my sleep schedule so I could take some time to get anything done. I've been having to do more during the week now.
They sent out an e-mail the other week asking if people preferred 5/2 or 4/3 and I swear to fuck, if we stay on a 5/2 schedule I'm gonna be pissed.
Told them I like the 4/3 and I need to keep my Sunday nights free for "religious" purposes.

 

Hopefully you guys will get back to normal before too long.

 

As long as I get my Sundays in time for the rink to open back up, I'll be okay.

 

Priorities

 

Keeps me sane.
We've had a couple small "practice" sessions the past two Saturdays so that's been super nice.

 

I've only ice skated a few times. I was good enough to be able to not fall, but I damn sure couldn't go fast and stop like they do on TV

 

I learned to skate when I was two and I've been playing just as long, I suppose. Since Timbits hockey..
I had to go a couple years without hockey when I was in the army and it sucked. I try to play as often as I possibly can.

 

I assume Timbits is like Little League?

 

Timbits is as low as it goes. I think it's everyone under 6 or 7.
Not sure how much of a thing Timbits is outside of Canada now though. Mini-mite is/was the equivalent in the US.
I'm pretty sure USA Hockey is getting rid of the names now and just doing ages.
Used to be Mini-mite, mite, squirt, peewee, bantam, midget (youngest to oldest)
Now I think they're all named based on age group.

Lol, I'm sure they wrestle around and try to mimic the pros. There's a pretty funny/cute video of a 4 year old mic'd up during a hockey skate on YouTube somewhere.

 

Did you post that the other day. I watched it and don't know why I would have. He was ready to take a nap and get McDonald's

Mornin folks, up since 445 with the knuckleheads while the wife gets to sleep. She was up with them at 4 yesterday.
