How's work? Glad to be back or was vacation too short?

 

Ya I’m glad to be back for now. It’s crazy up here what we are having to do because of the virus.
How is your wife doing?

 

Are you going to have to do the two week quarantine every time you go back up there now?

She's alright. She fractured, not broke her distal radius. The fracture went all the way across the bone right before it joins with the wrist. Luckily, she won't require surgery. She has weak and limited movement of her fingers and wrist but she says they're getting better by the day.

 

That’s great she is getting better. Right now yes we will quarantine 14 days each trip up, corporate is working with the state on a testing plan for incoming employees when they arrive in Anchorage. Take 4-5 days to get the results back and then you can fly into work.

 

Dang, hopefully they get that worked out pretty quick. Has to be dull. Are you guys confined to a room the entire time or do you have an area to get out and do something? Can you at least drink?

 

We are confined in the room and only to leave if there is a fire alarm or emergency. The suite rooms are really nice with a full size kitchen, small living room, shower and bedroom. I will admit I was ready to get out of there after a few days. Yes you can drink but have to friend in Anchorage drop it off. I used Instacart and had groceries delivered and some take out food delivered a couple times.

 

Ya I think I'd go insane with cabin fever by day four lol. At least you can get beer though!

Going back to work has been bittersweet for me. I'm glad to be doing something but I'm ready to move on to something else. Hopefully they'll start doing polygraphs again soon.

 

Really hope you get that job.

Not really sure what I'll do if I don't get it. Sell all my shit and buy a school bus or something lol.

Woke up with some loud ass thunder. Not exactly my favorite way to wake up. It's pounding over here. Sounds like a freight train! And it's only just beginning.



Luckily it's the wrong time of the day for tornadoes. Not enough heat.

I'm going to do some reading about swapping gearsets in the diff. The way my dad explained it it sounds too easy. If it's something I can do I'll order another E-locker and some gears!

 

Nice you got a particular ratio in mind?

 

I'm leaning towards 4.30's with a Harrop E-locker
