That's a horrible idea. What time?
Chamberlain. It's the newer generation with the wifi capability. And it really is pretty quiet. Just some motor noise. The garage door is much louder. And I don't try to repair those things (except the remotes, they're cheap). It costs more in parts than it does to just get a new one. I don't use it much anymore with drive way parking. The Taco barely fits with the tool box and accumulated wood working stuff. Wood workshop to the basement and a shed under our raised deck will let me garage park. Like Taco mods, house mods never end.

I didn’t know chamberlain was still making screw drive in new models. I just assumed I guess since they are both made by the same (chamberlain is the diy consumer grade while liftmaster being the professional grade)

I can’t park in my tiny 1 car either but I am able to pull in halfwY to get out of the sun so at least there’s that. I hear ya on the house mods… I’m re doing my whole front yard currently so I haven’t done anything to the taco in at least a month (unfortunately this includes a wash).

Things may have changed. The purchase was about 15 months ago. My wife has the parking privileges for the garage, but I have conversion rights for my use (provided I move her car...) I do the same, pull half way in and do what I need to do. That may include paint protection this summer since we have a south facing asphalt drive way in VA. It get a little warm.

As for house mods, when the wife gets back to work, elevated deck extension with stair relocation, basement, outdoor seating area, and maybe a small outdoor kitchen set up for the smoker I have and grill I want to get. Time will tell how that plays out.

That looks like a neat "...wife's in a hurry, but just give me 5 mins to put these on before we go" project. :D Where'd you get 'em?

Ha, well grew up in western Nebraska then spent the last year of HS in Maine. Military took me to Germany for a couple of years then I landed in Tx, been here since 94 in and around the San Antonio area. I have never been to that part of the US, but I have been wanting to go explore and see things as it looks like some wonderful country.

Great looking seat covers. Can you post a pic of the Drivers seat? Would like to see how the covers are around the power controls for the seat. Thanks!!!

We just moved to North Carolina from NJ so I know what you mean. I had them in my FJ and went through the summer last year with them and didn't seem to sweat any more then usual.
