They won't stop you with NV plates either. Unless you fail to slow down all together :anonymous:

It seems now that all the tool brands are putting their tooth count in big letters and just trying to get higher and higher

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I've been happy with my Snappy 80 toothers. Maybe one day I'll need something with less than 5° swing but it'll be a while I think. One thing with the HF internal design on their 80 tooth pro series is there is way less tooth engagement, so the mechanism tends to yield early. I don't know if that's true of the new ones but so far the Snappy internal design with 6 teeth constantly engaged and not locking the pawl against the body in sheer is unique.

About an hour, those hills/mountains are right outside the town I grew up in out here in CA, about an hour north of LA city.

Here I made a colorful offroad map of my area, the X is where I live now and the circle is where we were yesterday

It just seems amazing there are so many scenic places to off-road that are near LA. I would be all over that if I lived near it. I like high and dry off-roading.

yeah it's probably the only redeemable thing about living out here. It can be pretty brutal in the summer though with the heat, but in the fall/winter it's great weather for wheeling out here. My wife is all about the ocean but that area is way too touristy/crowded for me in the LA area at least. The coast is way better in CA if you go further north, where the forest meets the sea. Down here is more ghetto-meets-the-sea and it's more depressing

no he was still sulky that he never got a ride to the insurance lot to get the stuff out of his car when I saw him last weekend. I guess the month+ window they gave him passed and it got shipped to another town :notsure:
