Unfortunately nothing showing when they were new, but I'll snap one later today for you in their current beat up state.

Thats with the tailored kit. I just had a scab of clearbra from the auto shop down the street. Took me a week of afterwork nights and a few verbal tirades. But it does look good once you get it all finished.

If you have no experience with vinyl application, pop for a spray bottle of something like Rapidtac. I laid down a bunch of vinyl on my Seadoo like a boss a couple years back and Rapidtac makes it way easier. 1FC8CD54-4A1B-4033-8397-3253D8B3252C.jpg

    not enough.
I have a hodpodge of stuff on mine. lizardskins on downtube, AMS on top tube, invisiframe on the rear triangle. I'ma bout to pull off the AMS and LS and put ont he full invisiframe here in the next few days. Easiest place to practice is right chainstay. small piece that was long enough that you could get the hang of it.

I've applied so many screen protectors and other things to computers/phones over the years that this is now second nature. take your time. plenty of soapy water. wet your hands. wet the area and the adhesive side of the wrap. you'll get it. squegee things out but remember, if everything is wet and you start squeegee-ing, you'll move the peice. so take your time. OH, and make sure you know HOW the piece goes on before you pull it off and start applying it. saves you some headache. :) good luck! I find it pretty soothing to attach things.

Also, take small pieces of the wrap (IDK if ridewrap gives you extra) and put it on the places that are still a little exposed that you want to cover. the aluminum welds aren't covered by mine so I covered those up with extra pieces.

Your spark looks great man! Much prefer the black.

My vinyl application experience is pretty limited. I put letters on my grille, in the stamped ‘TACOMA’ on the tailgate and this big thing on the hood. I just used a baby soap/water solution and they all turned out well.

No problem! have fun and goood luck! If it doesn't get applied properly, you could always get another set and try again. haha. it's not the end of the world.

yeah it's gonna be a doozie if I even attempt it. never done anything that size. probably a good 6-8ft drop once you get a bike length or more away from it..

We have one like that at Sundance. Small feature but with terrain falling away like that for a good size drop.

Honestly, committing to it is the hardest part. After the tires leave the ground, any bike worth its salt will take the landing like a champ.

that's why I think I might get talked into it. it's sloped enough that it's not some harsh landing, and chance of going over the bars is pretty slim if I have a decent amount of speed, but I don't have to be blasting..

On drops like that, lower speed (until a tragic lower limit) can be helpful in not making it as huge. On the high end, all it takes is overshooting a landing once and you learn not to do that again. :itllbuffout:

    Agreed.

We have one that's a widowmaker down in Payson. It hips off the end of a switchback to a 8 foot drop, then there's a stand of mature hardwoods on the runout. Based on the bark missing, I'd say it's claimed a few. :rofl:I pass on that one every time.

I don’t have a good shot from above it but this was watching unicycles go around it. Just a few soft trees down there if things go hairy. You can see the drop on the right..

That's awesome! Our baby girl is due in July and she will be listening to dad read Shred Til Bed for sure! Thanks for the share.

I like those good decals. I have a QS too and have considered some type of black hood decal. Nice.

We don't have many drops over a few feet on our local trails, but I did one Monday that was a good bit taller than the one in your pic with a similarly steep landing. I was super surprised at how smooth the landing was. Way less impact than a 2.5-3' huck to flat I have at my house. Didn't even use full travel (front or rear) on my Scout.
