    Oh gotcha. Either way I got it routed out more into the fender well behind the headlight. Still gets warm sitting and idling but seemed promising on my drive into work today for making a difference. We’ll see this afternoon when it warms up some more how temps look.

    One of the reasons I have an intercooler in/out temp gauge.

    I think it was @DocME that blew an engine due to failed intercooler pump.

    Had an idea here. After you get your MAF turned back around; Get ahold of RKSport and order one of their hoods. It's got a functional hood scoop that brings air right over to that area. It looks mean too. If that's your thing.
    Build a little airbox around the bottom of that filter and get it to seal up when the hood is down. My only concern is heavy rain working itself down into that air filter. But, then, your current setup stands to ingest a lot of water too. May be a non-issue.

    194 was about the usual norm for me beating the shit out of the blower and engine with the OE thermostat.

    With the way that thing is ducted and the way all scooped hoods (minus cowl induction) have hood scoops set up to where they are set in the low pressure area of the body, water ingestion would be severely minimal and if anything that hood would serve more as a functional heat extractor rather than a potential water ingestor... Unless fording then all bets are off, as always.

    Looking at it in Google search pictures it appears like the sides protrude out some so you can mount it. How did you get that mounted in there? I like how it's a simple gauge with red, matches my AEM X gauge colors and while I really dig the Revel, it would throw off the dash gauge theme.

    Flow switch. Wire it how ya like. Ig kill, idiot light, whatever.

    Normally used to protect spa heaters. Should easily handle coolant and the temps we're talkin.

    As do I. Have been seriously considering one for months. But, for me, with the intake I'm currently running, it'd be of no use. I'd originally planned to switch to an open top style intake and then integrate. But, I'm pretty happy with the TRD Taco/4R hybrid setup.
