Shouldn’t take too long to get 04A61 (plus the others) released after final shakedown results are in. Right?

I don't think it's set to release until this weekend sometime.

Many of us have never cleared values when loading/changing any tune.

 

Mat was pretty adamant about doing so, with the latest beta

 

I am trying everything. I have tried downloading everything again, I try to downlod the pc5 flash stuff but there is so many viruses it won't let me. i turned off my antivirus and got it up but when I hit pc5flash it just goes to the page but won't let me do anything. The flash and identify tabs up top are all light grey and won't work. When i got the kit I had downloaded everything on my girlfriends computer. Haven't used it yet but that's not working out so great so I am trying it on my new laptop and nothing works. I am lost and about to take the $600 loss.

 

The software is bound to a specific computer, unless you worked with Mat to get it migrated to a second laptop.

 

I sent an email to them. Hopefully I can figure this out. So far I have had nothing but problems.

 

You will need a new registry file. Then after you install the software, be sure to install the tactrix driver.

Think positive. It will all work out and be worth your $600.

 

Be sure to go into windows defender and any antivirus software and make exception for the whole vFtuner folder.

 

LOL, and this is exactly why I am having problems. No clue how to do all that. I'm one of the was in college before there was internet guys.

 

Just Google make exception windows defender

 

I also have the symantic endpoint protection on it. That's what's flagging everything so bad

This is where I may be snagged on. I'm trying to get my ECU ID but the Flash tool is not picking up the tactrix ("interface" field is blank). Thanks for the suggestion.

Anyone know if its necessary to email back the Calibration information or does doing so unlock the tunes. The instructions say that they'll just email back the stock tune. I believe i have those already. Just want to get this tune in before the weekend.

 

Did you download driver's?

 

Not Yet. I assume this is my issue.
