There are two ways to get XM on the Android head units. XM app is the easiest. You will have to link your phone to the head unit for data or have a separate hot spot that is connected to your head unit for data. The other way is buy a separate XM receiver that will plug into the aux channel on the head unit and controlled by the XM receiver controller. The latter gives you a real satellite connection vice internet connection.

Wait, $300? Where can you get the dasaita for that cheap? It's closer to $450-$500 from what I'm seeing.

I'm not sold on this unit yet. You make it sound nice, but I searched around on youtube to see some videos of it in action and the only one I could find was not impressive. The unit looked to be extremely laggy and underpowered. Checked a couple videos of the dasaita and it looked a heck of a lot smoother. That's a huge deal to me.

In your experience is the t9 laggy or is it smooth?

No I've found that a couple times on my commute there is enough interference either I either lose wifi to my phone or my phone signal and my music would freeze and would take a minute or more to recover some times. It was a pain.

Believe what you want...exact same thing, just put a different name on it. I gt no lag, really quick, no issues at all. Go ahead with dasita, they won't guve you any support when it comes to frozen units or how to troubleshoot

Yes you can mirror, but it is a waste of time. You can folliw name brands but they cant do anything this can and costs more. You wint even care for carplay or android auto once you get this thing running

Disagree. I have had superb support both of my Dasita units, with all questions answered in short order.

Sure, can you direct me to thier facebook group or how to use polarized glasses with thier units? What type of warranty do you get? Have they upgraded you to android 10yet? Or how to fix the boot loop?

I used a direct support email. I don't use facebook. Every headunit I've ever used does not support polarized classes at an off angle. I have a year warranty. No android 10 yet - I don't particularly care for the android operating system, however it works fine with my existing iOS interface, giving me a hell of a lot more functionality than the stock Entune or any current big name manufacturer.

I am not here to debate the provider of your chosen system. I am only refuting your blanket comments on a provider I am very familiar with.

It's not a belief, I literally watched the lag with my eyes. What I wanted to know is if the t9 is laggy or not because it sure was in the youtube video I watched and the dasaita wasn't. Support is great and all, but the unit needs to be smooth for me to watch to switch from entune. If you're saying yours is smooth, that's great and all but I sure would love to see a video of it in action.

I'd also be curious to see how the T9 performs. Would you mind taking a quick video demonstrating this unit? I really wanna see it in action.

*Edit - This unit looks identical to what Cruxx has setup. I'd bet they're the same thing. Nice to see instructional post on this too.

Got tons of vids, just dont know how to post em to this site. Not laggy at all. Quite fast in my opinion. May have a hiccup from time to time, requiring a reset

Is there a way to upload videos from my phone or does it have to be posted to facebook or youtube or something? I would love to share videos of the things this can do. If you are on any tacoma fb groups, search “Huy” and “t9” and you are bound to see the videos i posted. I post quite a bit about it

I wonder if the Anytime Backup Camera harness/switch would work with this. Anyone try it?

Yup i have the anytime mod. Basic plug and play...nothing different. Also works when you are splitscreening. Only one will show the cam, other app operates in splitscreen mode, but i dont suggest using it that way

Nice! Thanks for the info. Definitely makes it more attractive after going through the trouble of doing the Anytime mod.
