DO it, whats the worst, the will send you home? if you really need, I got a lawn that you can tell them you spent the last 14 days camping on.

    Exactly

Because of Covid, they were able to make great time in NYC and other places. I also believe lots of them have extra fuel tanks.

I was talking to one of the techs at work who returned after being out for well over a month with COVID.
His biggest fear is not knowing if he can get it again.
And yes, he said it was bad as they said it would be, although he got the lung infection at the tail end and it was not severe.

if you’re into podcasts (or even if you aren’t) Joe Rogan interviews Michael Yo, a comic who had the virus and almost died, it’s really eye opening.

Sounds like everything you're intending to do is in keeping with the intent of the quarantine guidelines. You're staying remote, fishing alone and going home, fully permitted. I say go for it.

I was reading about the Cannonball cars, looks like a lot of them have oversized fuel tanks. They didn't list anything about the Audi A8, but the 2 and 3 spots allegedly had 67 gallon gas tanks!

What is known is they used a 2019 Audi A8 with a pair of large-volume marine fuel tanks ratcheted into the boot. Road & Track also reports that an unknown number of drivers – possibly four – were used for the run.

They're talking speeds in the 125mph range for a cruising speed. WOW.

However, I think it would be awesome for the grand tour to do a cannonball run special now.

To be fair I just mean driving the route. Imagine telling the three of them they can do the route, they can choose whichever car they want...

SCRATCH THAT it would be a good farewell episode for the trio.

thanks for the comments. That has aligned with what I have found.
My travel would be almost as far across the state you could go from west to east so definitely not a short trip. (Albany NY to Yarmouth, MA- unless some southie closer wants paypal'd $75 to inspect a vehicle for me)

the only guidance I saw was the statement from your governor "asking" all to quarantine for 14 days with no actual requirement. New York state website also states all bridges, toll booths, etc between state lines as open and accessible. I could feasibly view vehicles with zero interaction besides with a dealership associate. Pack a lunch, e-tolling, pay-at-the-pump, etc.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Mines a 1991 Trek 950 (one of the made in USA models). I still want to get some wider bars too.

I still have skinny bars. But I started in BMX, so a wide BMX bar is narrow in MTB standards, so it feels pretty normal for me to have the "narrow" MTB bars.

    Yeah, it may be.

I'm not leading a convoy of 25+ trucks through those little towns though, the definition of 'quarantine' is not something I want to be involved in testing. I'm glad to see Mills has decided that killing the entire Maine economy isn't a good idea.

Any recommended shops in RI or South MA (close to Aquidneck island) for lift installs/alignment? Looking at the OME 2in lift kit but don't want to pull the trigger unless there's a shop I can trust with my taco. I'd install myself but don't have a garage that fits at the moment, and I'm getting lazy in my old age.

Happy Friday. I know it's only been a week, but I pulled a bottle out of the home brew, mid way through it's bottle conditioning threw it in the fridge with the intention of cracking it open tonight. I'll let the other 47 keep on doing there thing for another week but, it's been a rough week and I'm curious to see what's happening along the way! I'll likely move the second cider batch to a secondary fermentation over the weekend. This is the one I added brown sugar to so it will likely be a little dryer and should be up there in ABV. Based on the starting sugar, I should be somewhere in the 10-12% range so I'll probably have to back-sweeten that one...

I usually sample one midway through, just to get an idea of how the batch will turn out. I'm the curious sort and can never wait.

Yeah, lets go with that. I'm responsibly sampling the batch  If it's good, there may be a few more that don't make it the full 2 weeks...
