I’m a first time Tacoma owner (Camry and 4Runner before that). Looking for feedback on upgrading to Toytec Eibach front coils (620), GS HD spring pack, and 5100s all around. I plan on setting the front to 0. What should I set the rear on? Read all the posts in this, but curious as to how similar set-ups have stood up over years.

Not really looking to level the truck or increase height too much. Just something that improves the suspension and a little more offroad capable.

    So far I’ve:

    Dipped rear bumper
    Dipped front valence
    Dipped emblems
    Removed TRD Off Road graphics
Replaced chrome grill w, super white (no chrome left)
    Dipped front Toyota emblem
Added a white TRD badge time front

    Time for something more functional.

You don't set the rears at all, they just bolt in in the stock location. The lift comes from the leaf packs.

He right. The leaf pack controls height/ride. Always look at load capacity - too heavy duty leafs without sufficient weight will make the ride quality stiff.

Quite a bit of surface rust on the undercarriage considering the model year and state your plates are from. I would stop with the dip garbage and clean up the bottom of the thing. This is OK limited prep type paint. https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/stops-rust/rust-reformer

The OEM skid plate is a good light weight add. It may not hold up to a solid hit on rocks, but it will definitely take a bit of abuse. I don't like the gray and painted mine black.

Not sure I agree w the term dip garbage. Did some w my 4 runner and it held up great for years.

The truck is actually from UT and KS originally. I pulled it from a KS dealership down here to TX. The rust didn’t surprise me given snow/salt/chemicals they use on the roads.

Thanks. I’ll take a look at that product. What’s the best way to get the rust off?
