Most people in this thread have been around a while, the “regulars”. Every couple of months someone new stumbles on the thread, thinks they are the first person to ever get lean or big and spouts off about everything they know, posting selfies, claiming single digit bf, but then get butt hurt and either get banned or leave.

a tale as old as time....

Hope you stick around. Liven it up a bit in here :stirthepot:

I’m happy you were able to avoid surgeryAnd recover. Its not a fun thing.
The drugs are fun but not the recovery and the bills.

Oh hay you're back :) sounds like you have just done everything!

Yes I was around that in the military. I had a low lean mass and was low BF because I weighed 196lb at 6'4"... I didn't have to try hard to be low BF, I also didn't care about a number. Now my lean body mass alone is 25lbs heavier than my entire body weight at that time.

But now I'm more interested in deadlifting 700lb+ and being able to run with a 1000lb yoke on my shoulders than getting to 10%. Like I said before, being low BF is cool but if you don't have the lean mass under it than you just look twiggy. Being a skinny lad is cool if that's what you're into, just my personal opinion. But, if you're gonna claim single digits out of nowhere you're gonna get flamed round these parts, ask @weldertaco about that, and he only claims 13%! Lol

Like everyone else has said, people get so fixated on a BF% number and almost 100% of the time they underestimate it severely. I can claim low BF% all day but it doesn't prove anything, especially on the internet where everyone stretches the truth. I let my lifts and competitions do the talking because I can actually back that up with zero doubt or questioning.

    You're still silly.

    Oh, and..

    Be well :)

EDIT: also a nutritionist, who keep in mind is trying to sell and market his service, that claims on a random blog that a client of his is 8% from using said services, makes me question your claims even more lol I honestly don't care about your bodyfat %, I think it's funny to troll cause you're getting so worked up.

I can admit when I make a mistake. It might sound like I'm getting worked up but I'm not. The flaming is nothing new to me, grew up with some really rough dudes. He's much more than a nutritionist if you checked his credentials you'd know, they're listed on his site. Maybe he is trying to sell a service and he fudged my %, idk for sure. In all honesty I was only going off what he told me. Like I said, I've been working hard for the last 5years to get as lean as possible and maintain it. I made the mistake to claim a % that I was told, my bad yall. Can I still be in the club!??

How about I say this instead... Hey guys this quarantine got me so productive I got into the best shape of my life!!

Is that cool!? Or still too much!?? Lol

I'd appreciate that! I humbly apologize to the elders of this thread for claiming an inaccurate %. I promise to only claim what I can prove without a doubt. I hope you can forgive my childish behavior and accept me as your equal. Thank you for taking the time to read my bs

A few of us are right there with you. The ones of us who were still equipped with a way to workout. I sold a house, bought a house, moved, and have a pregnant wife due in 9 days so Quarantine has been quite busy. All the while I managed to get my daily workout in one way or another and since we've been in our new house (moved in on Apr. 20th) I've had my full home gym set-up and ready to go. OHP/Shoulder day today and Deadlift day tomorrow:muscleflexing:

It's also Flex Friday, so it's about that time for a fresh set of noods up in here :cookiemonster:

My damn squat rack (curl rack) didn’t show up today. UPS screwin me over. Someone probably stole it and sold it for about 5xs what I paid

I’m recovering from knee surgery right now but also struggled with hip pain due to my piriformis muscle always being pissed off due to my glute med not doing its job.
My knee PT right now is super focused on all single leg squats and lunges with a lot of balance. PT says its best to work with one leg at a time because it reduces the like hood of developing those screwed up compensations you get. Hip pain hasnt really come back yet. :fingerscrossed:
