I just went to 35s last week and everything seems to be good. I’m happy with the power it has and I didn’t see a huge loss in power. I drive pretty grandpa’ish anyways. I may never change gears but if I did, it would be 4.56. Can you tell a difference between the two?

The work it takes to go 35s with a 3” lift is waaay worth it. 35s are perfect imo.

I haven’t really noticed that yet. Not saying that it doesn’t but I haven’t noticed. Just got on the interstate for the first time today and at 73 mph I’m @ 1,951RPM. At 75Mph 2k. Not too bad really. Around town I’m getting ~15.4 mpg. So stock gears aren’t all that bad. I don’t see what so many people complain about. But I also haven’t gone to the mountains yet or took a long road Trip. I keep an eye on trans temp. That’s about all I’m Worried about.

Mine did not like the hwy at all with stock gears took forever to shift into OD and lock up the torque converter. I'm on 4.88s and it's like it's back to stock almost as far as power delivery etc.

I did have 17” fj steel wheels with 285s For 3 years and they were almost as heavy as my 35” set up. So I may just be used to the sluggishness by now.

I’m planning on trying to sell the truck as is...but if I do part out, it’s going to be a loooot of parts. Hardest thing is probably going to be finding somebody to swap 3rds with me since mine are 4.56 and air lockers front and rear.

I regeared to 4.56s since im running 33's and my truck weighs litterally a fuck ton. I noticed immediate results. Its ALOT peppier in the lower gear ranges. It doesnt hunt for gears anymore at highway speeds and last but not least, i seem to be getting better fuel economy. All in all i wasnt a believer at first but i'd say regear if your budget allows. You wont look back.
