You would think Glock would make it easy to throw night sites on. Bbbuuuuttt no! Have to get a damn 3/16” thin wall tool. Amazon next day is less than $10 but still. It’s the moral of it. Ok, my little rant is over. (For now-lol) still love my glocks and bought a tippmann 22 pistol for the kids to plink with. Good reviews and vids on it. Generic pic as. Pick it up tomorrow but it’s a solid gun built an ar.

If I sell a gun/pistol to an individual I make / take a copy of there Drivers Lic. and attach it to a copy of the sales record and file it. Just in case SHTF and it comes back on me. If they have a problem with it then NO sale. Just my .02.

I do a bill of sale where I write everything down, license number, serial numbers, date and time, location of the sale and I make sure its on video camera if possible. I take a photo of their ID and I print it and keep with the paperwork if I do anything that doesn't go through my FFL.

In this day and age, I would never sell a gun to a private party. Period. Just too much risk.

All my private to private says are from a forum with a seller rating system. So I have very little fear selling anything to someone that's been on the site for years and have had 50plus good ratings on the same site from buying and selling it trading firearms or firearms related stuff... I'll take that over anyone on Armslist, with the driver'license info or not.

Glock made it easier than most other mass produced pistols on the market and skipped the hydraulic press dovetail front sights

They recognize that everyone wants different sights which is why they mostly ship with those cheap plastic sights

You need a bit more than an ID to completely steal someones identity.....almost all off that information on your ID is reasonably attainable through public means or by google searches. If you don't believe me, type in your own name and do some digging. You would be surprised as to what is already linked to your own Digital foot print and what can be gathered with few minutes of searching.

You assume all the risk by selling a firearm and not properly gathering what you need to prove it is no longer yours.

If you won't, then someone else will.....its that simple.

In GA, there is very little risk you assume when selling a firearm. As long as you are selling a firearm you're legally allowed to sell, selling to a person of age, and that you know is not a convicted felon. (meaning if they are and you know it, you can't sell to them. If they are and you don't know it, well it's not your job to figure it out)

I sell a gun....It is used in a crime....somehow police show up asking me about it.
My response will be, "I sold it some time ago"
After that there really is no where else to go with that conversation....

But hey, not here to argue about how people sell or buy their guns. So you do it your way and i'll do it mine. Both seem to work just fine and end the end I feel were both doing the same thing by getting more guns into the hands of good people who want them. Like I mentioned before, all the people I have bought from or sold to have been on a forum with a rating system and all have had many years of good history and good ratings in transactions. I feel very confident that I'm selling to or buying from a trustworthy individual. So getting firearms in the hands of good people is a good thing in my opinion.

    Back to Glock mega thread.....
Just scored this kkm match stainless barrel for $90
Little cleaning up and it will be good to go.

I don't run magpul glock mags but I have used ETS mags before. They seeem to work fine with the exception of shooting cheap steel cased ammo like the winchester steel forged brand. Those rounds would get stuck in the mag and bind up. All other ammo seemed to run fine though.

    I have Glock and Magpul.

Any problems I have had with feeding issues have been narrowed down to ammo. Usually a lgs reloads or Older Glock Mags.

I did acquire a ETS, but haven't used it a lot, so no feedback on it.

    Magpul are good to go

I’ve heard tale of ETS cracking but none of mine have...I still stick with magpul and Glock oem for carry pistols
