Scratch that. It’s already under contract. God I hate the CO housing market.

I would be ok with that, but these damn photographers use some black magic fuckery when taking the pictures. You see the pic and think it’s a beautiful huge room with natural light then get there and realize it’s a windowless closet.

See, you're doing it all wrong. All that matters is the garage/barn and if you can drive your truck through the entryway with or without a RTT mounted way too high.

That's how they get ya! The house I'm closing on had the shittiest pictures, literally taken with a phone, in one picture you can see the lady standing in the mirror. There was maybe 3 of the inside and 10 of the outside just pointing at a field and trees. Fortunately when real estate restrictions lifted we were able to view the home and realized the pictures were just junk. No wonder it had been on the market since Feb.
Won't find many garages over 7 feet in Colorado. Best to get a barn/shop and of course a lift :D

265/75 16. Tried the pizza cutter (255/85s?) Cooper AT3s for a week or so before going back to the 265s. Any other size suggestions?

As Steve said, a lot of us run 255/80/17's Cooper ST Maxx's here. Myself being one of them. I've done a lot of snow wheeling and have had no problems with snow performance. IMHO they perform better than KO2's.

Are you talking about on trail snow performance or off trail?

    edit: + @Jefes Taco

I'm running those same Coopers, no complaints with road or trail snow performance. But, my only point of comparison is the stock TRDOR wheel/tire combo.

I ran the AT3s in 255/85/16 size. Seems to be identical in overall size to the 255/75R16. Are the Maxxs noisy/harsh on road?

    Falken ATW3?

GF seems to like them on the 4runner and has run plenty of trails and highway miles

Are you guys not having issues with the pizza cutters getting slick in ice/snow once they are wore down a bit? I had 255’s back in Florida and after they wore down some they were an absolute nightmare on wet roads.

Not noisy during city or highway driving so far, but I only have 6-7k miles on them. I think I saw some reports in the skinny tire thread about them getting noisier after 30-40k miles. They are harsher on the road compared to stock but I expected that moving from a C load to E load. Running them at 35psi instead of 40 helps out a little.

At rate I'm driving right now, it will be Dec 2023 or so before I can comment on that

That is any tire with lower tread depth. Once water removing ability is reduced, maintaining traction becomes lessened. If you're talking about a tire tread pattern that wasn't high on water usage/handling that is only amplified.

The narrower tire with correct tread pattern should be able to maintain traction easier as it has to move less liquid to contact the road surface.

I'm on bored with it and think its a good thing. Here's a good article that details some of the reasoning: https://www.csindy.com/coloradospri...ildlife-area-makes-sense/Content?oid=21771326

A few that I frequent and come to mind:
Skaguay Reservoir - hikers, wildlife viewers, and campers using the area
Beaver Creek SWA (below but adjacent to Skaguay Reservoir) is popular with hikers and wildlife viewers
Pueblo Reservoir SWA - half the lake is SWA, half is state park - so depends where you're at as to what part you are in.
There are tons others that get used by more than just fisherman and hunters.

    Interactive map of SWAs: https://cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/Pages/WildlifeAreaMap.aspx
