Planning on taking the wife up around Grafton state park tomorrow.

 

Yea, thats the plan. Going to prep, prime, and coat it with rust oleum bed liner; heard great feedback from others that went the same route. Looking to get some rigid dot amber fogs for it, and I need to order a switch for the winch (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/winch-switch-bracket-protect-your-investment.619464/) or
figure out how to fuse it. I’m going to be ordering the lift kit shortly as well and do it all at once.

Ideally, I would like to pull the bed and clean any rust on the frame off and POR-15 it; we will see if I can make time to do that too. Theres not a crazy amount of rust right now but there is some and I’m doing what I can to keep the frame as clean as possible.

 

A couple more birfday presents that he got yesterday from our new neighbor across the street.

Kiddo just got this from our friends diagonally across the street.

 

My friend's father was like that..except the whole inside of his house was torn up.

 

Im not that bad. We have been in our house five years and Ive done many projects start to finish without delay, including a full gut and rebuild for our kitchen and one of the bathrooms.

But good on her for calling me out how she did because I totally would have dropped anything else to begin working on the truck.

 

His dad would get a room half done, as in bare drywall up at the most..lose motivation. That happens, but when he got into it again he'd start another room instead of finishing the first one.

 

not clear on how my weekend is going to play out, but in concept I like the idea.

 

I am currently involved in a number of other truck groups and we do things on a regular basis like every other week pick a spot and just meet up... Talk about trucks, mods, life and just about anything at all

I have met a number of members in my groups that have become like family to me...

Saw this truck on the parkway when I was driving up north in Fairfield area this afternoon... Seemed pretty nice...
