All Things Bikes and Tacos! (...and every vehicle imaginable)

That’s probably the upper end of harder to find bikes right now. I’m sure the supply chain took a hit to add to the other logistical issues. I know one of my LBS received 2 or 3 truck loads of bikes this week though, it was honestly pretty crazy seeing pictures of all those bikes.

 

It's not a Taco, but it is a sweet setup. Retrax XR Pro with Yakima Frontloaders. Picked up 5 of them for 250buh....

 

I snagged a 2020 Giant Fathom 2 with just a few rides in it last week and got huge savings for not buying new. Well under $1,000. Hard tails are definitely out there to find used, just hard to find them mixed in with all the other Walmart mountain bikes.

I did a few things to help filter my search. I set my $ amount between $400 and $1,500 in the search filter. I searched keywords like hardtail, dropper post, tubeless, etc.

I am sure there will be a good deal within a few hours of you locally if you keep looking!

There must have been a run on them! I have been looking for a month and went to pull the trigger yesterday and everything was out of stock! I ended up pulling the trigger on a much more expensive bike than planned. Trek Roscoe 8... hope i like it!

I got it from this thread. Mine is extra wide. If I were to do it again, I'd order the extra wide/extra long version that is available but not listed. Just takes the vinyl further up the hood towards the windshield. I'll likely end up covering the roof at some point.

Haven’t been in the trails as much with this covid shit. So I’ve been riding around the city aimlessly to keep my legs moving a bit. I’m contemplating buying a gravel bike to use as a commuter to the firehouse and general beater.
