these are available anytime... and as far as strength goes, they transfer the weight to the sides of the bed not to the track system, so they will hold quite a bit. i stood up on top of one of the bars and jumped around some, didn't seem to phase them at all and i've got a few pounds on kyle... lol

Any idea where I can get some of those?? Are they custom made by you guys, if so, how much for say 1/2 dozen nut/bolt/washer sets?

yes we custom make them to fit the bed rails... they take a 3/8" coarse thread bolt. i'd have to know what thickness of material you plan on clamping on, depending on the thickness it either needs a 3/4" bolt or a 1/2" bolt to be able to clamp tight but not bottom on out the track system first.

I've got one piece that's 1/8" thick aluminum and requires 2 bolts. It sounds like I could pick-up bolts at a local hardware store so I could vary lengths as needed but the square nuts that fit the rails are a great thing to have around. I was going to get a few extras and keep them in my glove box for the next time I want to mount something to the rails.

yea the bolts are just standard 3/8" coarse thread bolts... nothing special there. we just make the nuts to fit in the tracks and so they don't spin when you tighten them down....

Would you sell a small box of 6 or 8? Obviously I'll pay shipping also. I can get the bolts locally, would just like to have the square nuts cut to fit the tracks. I know it's not a big order like the cross bars, but let me know if you'd be willing to sell just them and what the price would be for something like that. Thanks.

Last night a friend and I fabbed up the following "adaptors" for use with my Yakima bars and attachments.

Thanks to Kevin for the mounting hardware!

Glad the hardware worked out for you!

Also we can custom make bars to fit different attachments that you may already own.... Bike racks, Ski holders, whatever it may be!
