@nDub... how long does it (round about) take to get from Cottonwood Rd to 3N01?

I want to see if we can make it up to Bell Meadowtrail head via back roads, but I'm not sure thats doable on a day trip.

I'm looking at Cottonwood Rd to Coffin Hollow, to Bell Meadow trail head being 57.4 miles. We can exit out Crabtree Rd to Cold Springs (108)

 

Is Morgan going to be joining us?

 

From Tuolumne City to the 3n01 turn off its about 45 minutes.

Could also take 2n14 north and follow the Clavey. Last time I was out there the gates were closed but that awhile ago.

 

I'm going to try, but I'm in the middle of about 10,000 projects right now, so it's currently TBD


EDIT: put it this way I ordered/paid a new 3rd for the front of the black truck from ECGS just need to send my spare front diff it and haven't gotten to that yet
rear diff will be ordered soon

 

I'm kind of looking at 2N07 up through Fahey and Funks Meadow area. Then catch 3N01 over past Clavey bridge, and then heading up 3N94 to Coffin Hollow.

I know the area above 3N01 I'm just not familiar with below 3N01.

You shouldn't have any problem doing that in a day, particularly if you duck out on 108 up high. That being said bring a chainsaw, there might be trees down.

I've gotten to the point where I always pack a chain saw.

Need to give it a once over and make sure its good to go.
