It'll be a little sweeter and a little flatter than the final product, but it lets you gauge what you'll end up with.

I figured that would be the case. I tried a little bit when I bottled it. Tasted like warm, flat beer that someone put a sugar packet in because of the priming sugar. But, I was excited because it resembled beer! Hopefully this one is a little closer to what I'm expecting in my mind. I held a bottle up to the light, it looks fairly clear. Time will tell...

You get good at pouring them so that the yeast stays on the bottom, after a little practice.

First beer, tastes sort of like a craft lager. Overall, pretty good though! The other 47 aren’t pour outs so that’s a plus!

I know there are a few guys here who have bought/sold tires online - is it possible to sell 3 Goodyear wranglers (275/60/20) from my Ram 1500 (30k miles) and actually have someone want them? Blew out a tire and getting some new shoes Monday, but if someone can use them....I'd rather get next to nothing than pay $25 to have the shop dispose of them.

I'm sure someone would jump on them on craigslist or Facebook market.

I've had a hard time selling used tires and by that I mean it just took a while and I ended up selling them cheap. Eventually, someone will pick them up if you list them cheap enough. I've never had an issue moving tire/wheel combos, but tires alone I've ended up sitting on for a few months. Go cheap enough, someone will pick them up. They're worth something to someone but you may only end up getting $25-50 for the set of 3 (set of 3 is also tough to sell I'd imagine). Just up to you the level of B.S. and time you're willing to put into selling them.

Same. The last set of used snows I sold I actually had somebody trying to talk me down because they were the wrong size for his car so I should give him a discount. :der:

I told him that it was his lucky day, because I'd decided to offer a 'buy 3 and get the 4th one at the same price' deal for that weekend only. He got kind of rude after that so I blocked him. :notsure:

My wife is the same, can't stand blood and guts. I'm in general more easily provoked, but get on her bad side and you would beg to deal with me instead.

An old girlfriend of mine bought her first car without me..a 1989 Escort. Whoopee. I feel a little responsible b/c we had a huge fight before she did and didn't talk to her for a few weeks. That thing had a 30 day warranty and started running like ass 14 days later, she let them sweet talk her and say nothing's wrong. Bullshit, the CEL came on when we were driving it. Surprise, the trans went a few months later and like your mom she was stuck with it so bought a used one and that lasted a couple of years. Not sure what became of it b/c we broke up but there were a few other nightmares that usually ended up with me fixing it.

Getting ready to replace a dishwasher and found this.

    98100F5E-2AA0-48FA-B9DD-A4E4A860436A.jpg

My question is, do I have to replace in this exact configuration or can I just make the pipe from the ?S-TRAP? longer to a 90 go straight down to another 90?

Generally speaking, as long as you keep a trap and enough pitch that the water will drain (minimum of 1/4 inch per foot) you can use whatever configuration floats your boat. As proven by that weird-ass setup.

Going to a pair of 90's will actually drain solids better; too much pitch (rule of thumb is not to go over 3 inches of pitch per foot) lets the liquid drain away without carrying the solids with it.

    Thanks,

So if I am understanding what I think I have researched and read here, I should go straight across with a slight pitch down of like less than an inch, then 90 down to the floor.

The part circled in red has to be somewhere in the drain line to prevent sewer gases from coming back out the sink. So if youre trying to use the blue line it wont work.
