Yea, looks shiny. When I sanded the cap there were areas I have to go back over with coarser paper because the 220 seems to be polishing it. Ok, and it was a bitch removing the rear window. I had to drill out two rivets on each side, so I will need to add sheet metal screws and paint them black.

But now though, the remainder of the sanding will be much easier and putting the bedliner will definitely be easier and cleaner looking that just taping them off.

Is this the part where we get Randizzle blitzed and convince him to "Winnie the Pooh" scheme it?

Sweet fuck this is way more work than I expected. Took like 2 hours to tape everything off and an hour and a half to do a single coat. This shit is hard to keep from running too. I think I wish I’d gone textured but I’ll wait until tomorrow to make that determination.

Thanks. They recommend 2 coats and I pray that’s accurate but we’ll see. It’s pretty thin so it’s not covering up the darker spots well at all. I may have to suck it up and do 3 coats.

This stuff is interesting. I honestly wouldn’t even classify it as a bed liner.

Still cool. I think I'd like that texture better than full on bed liner.

Don’t, this is kinda a pita. Well sorta. The smooth is awesome, but if I were to do it over I think I’d to textured. It’s much more forgiving while being rolled on. Smooth should be sprayed and do a professional ass job. At least that’s how I feel at the moment. Once it’s all back together and I haven’t been staring at it all day I may care less about the imperfections.

For real though. You get up close on that paint and you’ll be able to pick out some runs here and there. For essentially rolling on paint though, I can’t complain.
