I just started telling myself that I’m done buying knives for now. Then you go and post that and now I want one of those too!

    Just the basics
Lol I told myself the same thing.
I picked up the original 940 Osborne at a very good price on eebay (spo_O) to accompany the 20th anniversary version. It took me a while for the purple backspacer to grow on me. In person it is nice. I watched lots of vids on the original 940 and the purple fades over time if it's an EDC.

Sure looks like it! Hopefully I'll get lucky one day and get the draw in the lottery for one of those.

Meanwhile, these two came in this week. Massdrop/Ferrum Forge Crux S35VN and Herman Dragonfly M390. Ironically, the Crux took over a month to arrive while the Dragonfly only took 3 days to get here from Poland.

I may have also ordered the Knifeworks exclusive Benchmade Grizzly Creek and am waiting for that to arrive :anonymous:

I really liked the little machining details on the Herman Dragonfly. There is a lot of internal milling on the scales as well.

Little project I just did the other day.
Kabar esee d'eskabar redone into a convex edge. From original secondary bevel working through the Whetstone all the way to a 4000grit naniwa chosera and 4micron CBN strop

Can't speak for American market but will say it was my go to EDC for the longest time. Still works it's way in rotation. But normally have my Chris Reeve inkosi or North arms skaha 2

I still want one, or a Spyderco Military.

In that price range on the used market there’s no reason to not buy new for the same price. Not a collector, not wanting any sprint run or anything that forces me into secondary market.

On the fence about which one I want to pick up.

I always carried a basic black g10 satin blade s30v.

Nothing special but honestly one of my favourite knives for the under $200 price.

For me, a sprint run has to be a pretty special knife. In fact, I might only have one or two that fit that description. The Kershaw is a great knife and honestly, worth getting.

I'm still not really sold on all the sprint runs. They're just fancy steel on basic knives. Like some of these sprints like b the shaman sprint is upwards of $450cnd at times. For an extra $100 that's Chris Reeve territory and I honestly think a sebenza or inkosi is a way nicer knife than a shaman with a rex 45 blade.

I can't disagree. Tho Wilson Combat often works with CRK to create a unique piece from something in their lineup-the Star-Benza and Star-Tac are two examples. Those might be worth consideration as special too.

Any interest in a lightly used Fällkniven F1 with custom kydex sheath?
