Hey all, resurrecting this thread since it seems OP had some success with his spindle repair. I had a similar situation.. my truck was getting towed for something else and as it was rolling onto the ramp, the drivers side gave a loud *BAP* and instantly sank almost six inches. THANKFULLY, my Toyo MT's softened the landing (tire is still functional by the way, that 10ply is thicc!). Please check out the photos and let me know if you guys can send me a link for what I need to buy to fix this.. planning to go to some junkers or auto part stores tomorrow morning. The lift is from Fabtech in case that information is needed, which it might be, https://fabtechmotorsports.com/product/6-performance-system-w-performance-shocks-k7003/ .

The second photo was just to show how we got the truck onto the ramp—a metal slider, some trusty wood, and the winch. Good thing it was a flatbed tow!

    Thanks everyone,
    Eric

Not to familiar with the fab tech but after looking at the set up. The Fabtech steering knuckle has come off the LBJ. Kinda weird looks like the LBJ is fine. Just looks like the hardware came loose or all 4 sheared(but that’s highly unlikely). 1 of the 4 bolts looks bent in the photo but I think that just the bolt in the LBJ dust shield and the shield is bent.

check the fab tech steering knuckle threads, maybe you’ll find bolt in there. Notice the bolt on the right.. head looks like it against the underside of LBJ but where did the rest go??!

note this is just and observation from two photos. You gotta get in there and inspect or get a professional opinion

Depends on what happened, looks like 3 things could of happened.
    1. The treads pulled out of the spindle
    2. Bolts came loose and came out (might have a broken bolt or two in there also)
    3. Bolts broken/Shear off

best scenario for me is #2&3

how I would fix the 3 scenario.
    1. I would drill and use time serts (I like them more than heilcoils). Might work, might not depending on wall thickness.
2 & 3. Extract broken bolts and replace with new.
