Many of the boosted boys (including myself) are headed out to Texas in (hopefully) an ever growing caravan style trip so we can have a mod day/ general meet and greet/ BBQ/ potential pool time fun. I'll have my girlfriend on official photographer/ videographer duty so we will have plenty of footage and stills on the way there, I am working on seeing if she can get a camera stabilizer device and maybe even a drone for aerial shots! If someone has a professional style drone, please let me know and maybe we can designate you drone person. Hahaha.

The main purpose of this trip is for me to get a custom exhaust system from John himself but @Roostfactor himself has been gracious enough to be the host of many and plenty Tacomas for their own side modding.

The date is tentative, but I am anticipating to get this thing rolling by August. It may be sooner, but that should give me enough time to get my car parts ready and set for the trip.

Here is the official list so far if you would like to swing by offer a halfway rest point for the crew, or whatever the case may be, feel free to add your name on here! It should be one hell of a trip!

    Let's get this thing started!

Great idea! Will you be a stopping rest point or will you be part of the trip?

I can confirm a half way stopping point for the way there, back, or both. Joining the rest of the way to Texas will be tentative pending dates and whatever else in life comes up

I dont have a problem with anyone inviting others as long as they are cool.

As far as amenities go I figure most dudes can use the outside (nature) bathroom unless needing the sit down method :D, then bathroom is open.
All women travelers are of course welcome to the bathroom.

    Sleeping:
Camp on property, shop floor, truck, motel, etc.
There will be very limited space inside house but I can house a few. Peeps that have already stayed at my place get priority in this regard (you know who you are).

    Showers:
Well I cant really support 15+ people's showers so the pool, sponge bath, etc.
Most of y'all are experienced campers so I dont see a prob here.
Women have free reign here as their needs are different.

    Food:
I have two smokers (electric and wood) three grills (two charcoal one propane).
I'll probably get a couple pork butts to smoke since cheap, delicious, and feeds many.

Outside of that people can get or bring what they want and use my grills/smokers as you wish. (Walmart and other grocery stores under 15 mins from house).

    Does this sound fair?

    Suggestions?

    What am I missing?

Let's get together and have a blast!

    Edit:
Please no pets. I have 2 cats and 3 dogs already.

Bring your own tools. You are welcome to use mine if you need a special tool (grinder, air tools, etc but it's just easier if people bring what they think they will need.

So what you're saying is now is a great time to buy a supercharger. I'll check my schedule at work tomorrow but I should have the weekends of the 1st, 15th, and the 29th off in august.

These rules are totally fair for everyone. Anyone who disagrees to these very lenient and laid back rules definitely has no place for this meet.

That's EXACTLY what we are saying! You bring it and you have 2-3 days to do this! We'll likely get you up and running for your blower the same day though. Tuned and actually ready to go by day 2 most likely.

Yeah I'd only do something like that if it was preapproved. I'm always down to lend a hand with other projects as well.

Be a good excuse for me to get one to better tow my trailer.

In the past, we have rented porta-potties. They are actually fairly cheap, and come all fresh and new. Saves a lot of house traffic. Water hose and hand sanitizer round it out.

    Just something to consider.

Coolers and some sausages or whatever else works for snacks.

Maybe a big dinner at a restaurant afterwards? Depending on how things go.

What kind of mods can we accomplish here? Is a header install too much to ask for ??

I have a Drone (gopro version) and may or may not have a stabilizer. I do have one for a GoPro along with a couple extra cameras to fill in when not driving.

With the amount of people there we could set a record for installing a supercharger with extra goodies if your feeling motivated.
