That's like saying "my 2008 GMC runs." Doesn't negate the fact that they're as poorly made as they are thought out.

I dunno, I suppose I never get why people buy life-protecting devices and cheap out. Makes no sense to me. As a range toy? Sure. As a carry gun? I question the sanity of that decision.

    I need this with a PL-PRO.

My P07 wears a PL-Mini. It's been dependable, with one exception. The right side lever/cover broke off revealing the bare post. I consider this a feature rather than a bug because it actuates better now lol.

    Nice! Thanks.

    Good to know. Thanks!

It does fit perfect! Got one thrown in with my local deal I just snagged. Problem is.. I need a charger for it.

I went to a LGS and asked about the Holosun 407k/507k.. they said that since they just released then all this shit happened.. they are all on backorder. They have an order placed for a few, just depends when they get sent out. I'll keep checking in.. otherwise they did have a DPP available.. hmmm..

Here it is! One more off my Sig Dream list.

picked up this baby (19). Already installed an extended slide lock, slide release, mag release and magpul magwell.

too bad I havent had a chance to shoot it yet. I want to compare the 9 recoil to the 40 recoil I have been shooting for the last 14 years.

I got to play with the SIRT and LASR system again today, getting my split times down and my draw time down a little.

What is the distance this is at? Not actual but whatever the metric is.

I think it equates to either 15 or 20 yards, I’m about 12’ from the targets and they’re printed on 8x11 paper.

That’s a slick system. Can you adjust the “distance?”

Yes, the easiest way is from the target side, you can make the target as large or small as you want (as long as it fits in the field of view of the camera), and you can also stand behind the camera (I.E if this lined up with the hallway I could go another 20’ back) and use the remote control box. Theoretically you could use it to about 200 yards with the green laser from SIRT but you would have to have the camera/laptop near the target and the remote box setup.
One thing that I will note is if my splits are much faster than above either the camera or software rejects them or simply doesn’t pick it up and you’ll have shots not register.

I’ve read about that issue with other brands.

So possible to set it up for more realistic distances (say 7 yards), just need to re-size the target? No finicky software or anything to recalibrate or similar fuckery?

I know only actual distance and target dimensions change, just curious if the app or whatever has to account for that somehow or if it’s not at all concerned as long as sight picture is clear.

Kind of random but does anybody know what model shotgun this is or approximate year? I was thinking maybe an oldish browning?

It shouldn’t be concerned, the software is just looking for the red (or green) dot to appear within the boundaries determined by the user. For a 7 yard shoot you would be served best by being indoors with the target in a lit (but not too bright) environment, you would probably be best off with the camera set at a max of 15’ from the target to ensure it picks up the laser.

I’m not really sure how the math works out for shrinking the target, the LASR software doesn’t cover any of that, but I’m sure google has answers (or if you’re smart with math you could get the dimensions of an IDPA target and find a formula to run the numbers yourself.

I killed seven Water Moccasins one day in 30 mins in the swamp just making my way to my tree stand. Hard to do that with a rifle.

It's simple math in the swamp or anywhere else. corn in the deer/hog feeder... Rats like corn ....Snakes like Rats.... Where I hunt is loaded with Water Moccasins and Copper Heads. The Rattle snakes stick to higher ground (Camp area) Hogs eat the snakes when they can catch them.
