So this happened this week in Orange County.
For those of you that have never heard of The Wedge, it's a partially man made phenomenon that occurs when large swells bounce off of a man made jetty jacking up the waves to 2-3 times their normal height.
What you can't see in the video is that the waves are breaking close to shore in very shallow water, making them extremely dangerous and extremely entertaining... to watch from a safe distance :D

You're still alive so I'm assuming that you stayed on the beach. I was raised in Anaheim but I grew up bodyboarding just north of the Wedge at 18 st. Newport.
I went out at the Wedge a few times when I was a teenager but it's an eerie place, I think because it's so unpredictable and dangerous you can never let your guard down and just have fun.
Here's a fun fact: Newport Beach local John Wayne suffered a shoulder injury bodysurfing the Wedge which ended his USC football career and led him to acting.

    Good morning all,

Headed up to Ocala to pick up an MBPR exhaust from a TW member here in Florida.. Great price and he only had it on for 1000 miles.. It's the 409 stainless version of the cat-back..

Then out to a little west of Ocala to an American Corgi breeder, check out her facility and maybe get on her list for another Corgi pup... Why?? Because I'm freakin nuts and at my age I'm needing three of these little buggers to wear me out!!!

Sadie Jane the 18 month old.. Nicknamed princess, and LittleShit or Shredder 1.. Obviously the homeowner here!

    upload_2020-5-16_6-50-48.jpg

Scout the 7 month old.. nicknamed Shredder 2 or Dammit and Stopthatdammit

    upload_2020-5-16_6-45-59.jpg

Both are Welsh Pembroke full blood AKC registered.. The ones we are going to look at are going to look like this...

Double Blue Eye'd Merle, CKC registered looking for something like this.. Of course these pups' ears haven't gone up yet but they will..

    upload_2020-5-16_6-58-38.jpg

Momma always goes to look, we seem to always come home with one... NOT this time, I'm looking for a specific one this time..

Anyways, y'all have a great day out there and be safe..

    Ya, canceled.
Just too many "what ifs" if we had gone.
Work would of made do self isolation for 2 weeks if we had gone.
    I want to try again.

    I still have this

    Good morning all

made it through the weather unscathed last night. Instead of hail, I really should be more concerned over lighting as my ham radio antenna is a dipole = 102’ copper wire 50’ in the air strung between two trees.
