    Tire alignment

should I change my transmission fluid?
    Differential fluid?
    Transfer case fluid?
    Suspension lube?
What else? How deep should I go?
I can’t remember what I’ve had changed before past the engine but I will have the local shop send me my history.
30 k quote from dealer was 900- quote from local shop was 250. Ive been going to them since.
    thanks!

    Oil change Sure $50 DIY
    Oil filter change
Engine fluid check and fill Sure $3 DIY
Tire rotation Yes is over 5k miles since last one
Tire alignment Only if you feel any vibrations

should I change my transmission fluid?
Differential fluid? If never done, yes. $30 DIY
Transfer case fluid? If never done, yes but not necessary yet
Suspension lube? If you mean grease the drivetrain zerks, yes

    $900 is robbery for that.

You might want to follow the owners manual and keep your own records of services.

Good for you having an independent shop.

Maybe the vibrations came from uneven tire wear due to improper tire alignment.

Yeah the dealer quotes are wacko.
Lex Brodie’s in my town has a few Toyota techs on hand at all times. They’ve been pretty good I would say. I would do my own maintenance but Wife had a baby boy 8 months ago, now my time for holding my own service documents and doing my own maintenance has disappeared.
Glad I have a good shop that’s close.

For servicing our 2012 prius after the toyota care was up. The dealer wanted $400 for the next maintenance service. The napa garage thats toyota certified here, did all the same stuff for $250. Been using them ever since.
